Your child's learning journey
We are using the software package Tapestry.
Tapestry is a fully encrypted, GDPR-compliant app that allows you and your child's setting to access important information.
Tapestry does everything we need, we can capture your child's learning journey and how they are accessing the curriculum. As well as receiving observations of your child, there is also a memo and chat function, where we can send you messages and pictures and you can can do the same for us. It is also a register, if your child is off for any reason you can use the message feature to let us know. You can view invoices and balances, read documents and edit personal details and contacts.
The app is available on apple and android as well as desktop.
Tapestry help
Threads
When you log in to the app, the first page you land on is your threads. Here you will see:
- Photos and observations about your child, that only you can see
- Memos These are essentially your child's Pre-school's virtual notice board.
Interacting with posts
You can 'like' the post with the heart icon, or 'comment' with text and photos.
Messaging
You can message us and send us pictures using the message feature
Documents
You can view documents such as key policies and letters
Reports
You can view your child's reports.
Report your child's absence
You can message us to let us know your child is absent and why.
Add or edit your child's information in about your child
The app enables the setting to store information about the children in order to provide the best possible care. Please add to this.
View your invoicing and account history
If you have been assigned as a Bill Payer or an Invoice Recipient, you will have access to the Balance tab when you log in to the app.
Your child's journey
You can download your child entire journal before they leave.
